Why walking tracker sheet ?????

We all wanted to stay fit & Healthy , lose weight .

We watch those influencers on social media with strict diet, losing weight by walking, jogging, Exercising ,working out hard ,get motivated , all of a sudden we start doing hard exercise , walking for 30 minutes for 3 or 5 days, then week end hits , jolly mode on.

After all those long heavy work outs, walking , strict diet, We get tired , wanted to eat well, while watching Netflix series, order online , eat more calories , more carb , more snack ,more deep fried.

On Monday morning, you check weight, you are shocked! All hard workouts turned into weight gain due to excessive eating on weekends.

This loop continues !Don't worry you are not alone . As a mom of 2 kids ,I had been on weight loss journey for 5 years almost in this same loop .Never lost weight from 73 kg.

On Jan 2026, I decided to lose weight but this time 'BIG NO' to all of sudden rise like 30 min work out , 30 min walking, strict diet. I understand, than quantity , consistency matters .

Starting small ,then improve tiny steps at a time will help stay consistent with tracking my walking progress every day. I created tracker for walking for entire month of January.

Instead of heavy work outs, long walks , strict diet , getting motivation from influencers ,I begin with 10 minutes every day , I choose do-able instead of perfection. First 2 weeks , I walked for 10 minutes & then 3 & 4 week, I walked for 15 minutes. Here simple trick that worked for me is every day tracking. Yes. That feeling of ticking on tracker sheet makes me feel 'ok I did it today , will do tomorrow also !'

I chose to eat 1200 calories with early dinner of 8 o clock.

I walked total of 18 days [Jan 2026] , 230 minutes , skipping week ends, and my period dates for 3 days,

February , I began with 20 minutes walk for 1&2 week , then 30 minutes for 3rd & 4 week.18 days but 467 minutes. Ayyyyyy!!!! I started to notice changes in my body from February.
